Book Review: All Good Deeds by Stacey Green, One to read!

All Good Deeds is a quirky private investigator story with a nice twist at the very beginning which I'm biting my tongue not to let slip.

When a child goes missing Lucy Kendall an ex social worker come private detective becomes involved in the case.  She is convinced that a recently released child murderer is to blame and her concerns increase when she realises the murders brother is the lead detective investigating the child disappearance. ( I suspended belief about him being allowed to continue to lead the case because I enjoyed the rest of the story so much.

All Good Deeds is beautifully layered  to provide a cracking good read.  Lucy's unorthodox character is a delight.  The way Green slips in the backstory so unobtrusively is laudable.  Above all this story is about the vulnerable and the exploited.  It is sensitve and very thought provoking
