Book Review : Jd Robb's Dark In Death - addictive as owt!

Available here

Dark in Death is the third book I've read recently with the theme of storytelling or literature running through it ... and I'm loving it.  Perhaps it's because I'm an avid reader and an author as well, but it really resonates with me.
In Robb's Dark In Death, a series of murders replicate a crime fiction author's body (excuse the pun) of work, but with Eve Dallas and the trusty Peacock on the case, the identity of the killer doesn't stay undiscovered for long.

With her usual combination of sassy, snappy dialogue, a healthy dose of humour, some steamy sex scenes and a plethora of characters that leap off the page and nto your heart, Robb has delivered another satisfying foray into the world of Dallas and Roarke in a futuristic New york
With small interludes with regular, well-loved characters like Mira, the police psyhologist and Dallas' mentor Feeney , it's like slipping into a pair of well-worn joggers.
I loved seeing Eve in Fangirl mode, after a small cameo appearance from Dr Mira's slightly dippy husband and then was doubly spoilt with Feeney's Fanboy moment too.

Robb's books always have a feel good quality to them. So, if you're looking for something to lighten the dark dreich weather in the run up to spring then Dark In Death is for you
