Book Review: The Girl You Lost by Kathryn Croft, a mothers nightmare comes true (release date 5th Feb 2016)

How do you recover from the abduction of your baby daughter?  How do you find the strength to continue after such a catastrophic loss.  Well, Simone and Matt Porter somehow manage to do juts that and 20 years after their beloved six-month-old Helena is abducted, they are still together and still very much in love.  Then...

... one day, when she least expects it, a young girl called Grace, approaches her and reveals that she thinks she may be Simone's abducted daughter.  When she produces an identical toy rabbit to one belonging to Simone's daughter, Simone is nearly convinced and decides to listen to her story.
Kathryn Croft writes psychological thrillers that leave the
reader reeling.   The Girl You Lost takes us to the depths of despair and back again.  The main character Simone demonstrates a raft of courage and empathy that has us rooting for her throughout.  However, Croft doesn't make it easy for her and delivers a convincing thriller that had me guessing till very near the end.  Fans of Sophie Hannah, Elisabeth Haynes and Julia Crouch will love this.
