Book Review: Liar Liar by MJ Arlidge : hotter than hell and twice as dangerous

In an intriguing side step MJ Arlidge has delivered as thrilling and unique a story as Eeny Meeny and Pop Goes The Weasel.  In Liar Liar we have a serial killer in the streets of Southampton whose pyrotechnics keep them at a safe distance to their victims but offer them the same thrills.  If an arsonist  serial killer isn't enough for you  prepare yourself to be blown away by the twists and turns that make Liar Liar enticingly unpredictable.

With an unsettling new boss, who seems over keen to be involved int he investigation,to contend with DI Helen Grace
feels off kilter professionally and then her feisty, quirky sex life taking a dramatic turn, leaving her vulnerable.
As usual Grace is not afraid to put herself in the line of fire to achieve justice.
Alridge once again gets right into the psychopathy of the fire-starter, the victims and the
professional bodies involved in the investigation.
Liar Liar is another strong offering from an author who surprises me every time.  This is a highly recommended read
