Politics can be a very deadly business and so it's no surprise that there are a fair few crime novels written around this subject.  So, in the run up to the UK's General Election here is a trio of Political thrillers (one from the UK, one from the USA  and one set in Imperial Rome- it seems political skulduggery was all the rage even then).

Presumption of Guilt demonstrates the laborious legal processes necessary to prove a prisoner innocent.  Marti Green delivers an excellent read tempered with some very sobering facts and figures showing the necessity of Innocent Prisoner's projects to help those wrongly convicted.

Again a wealth of great crime fiction for young Adults.  From Sci-Fi thrillers to current issues and, as usual, I am completely in thrall to the wonderful storylines and skill of the authors who produce such high quality fiction.
