I am delighted to welcome Michelle Kidd onto The Crime warp today. Her most recent novel m The Fifteen, was released in August this year and she's hoping for the fourth in the series to be released early in 2021. Available here My most recent release ‘The Fifteen’ was published at the beginning of August 2020. This is the third book in my DI Jack MacIntosh series. I wrote the majority of it during Lockdown, putting the extra time to good use! How long did The Fifteen take to write? A little over six months from start to finish. I work for the NHS and was able to work a lot of the time at home during Lockdown – and found that days had more than the usual 24 hours! Such a treat to have the very lovely and equally talented A.M Castle on The Crime Warp today for an author grilling ... oops I mean interview. It's especially nice since she brought cake, and I so love cake. Anyway here's what we talked about ... Enjoy! Tell us a bit about The Perfect Widow. The Perfect Widow came out as a paperback in January. It’s also available on Kindle and as an audiobook. It’s my first psychological thriller so, although all my books are my babies, this one is very special. I’ve loved the genre since reading Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier but wasn’t sure if I could write in the genre. I’m very grateful to the amazing Abigail Fenton at HQDigital for telling me I not only could but should. Where did the inspiration for  The Perfect Widow   come from? Author Interview: D.C. Brockwell author of No Way Out!

It's with great pleasure that I welcome Duncan Brockwell to The Crime Warp.  D C Brockwell is a full time dental technician from Burgess Hill, West Sussex, an avid gardener and part-time mixologist, meaning he loves mixing cocktails of an evening for his wife, Beks.   He writes crime thrillers, horrors and romantic dramas.   His first book, The Southern Belles was self-published in July 2019, and has received positive feedback.   Since then, he signed a 3 book deal with Bloodhound Books for his Nasreen Maqsood series, the first of which will be released on Wednesday 8 th  July 2020, called No Way Out. Subsequent instalments, Bird of Prey and Bad Blood will be released on September 1 st  and November 9 th  respectively. On January 4 th , his birthday, and the day the story starts on, Mr Invisible will be released by Bloodhound, and will be his first standalone novel.
