Happy Birthday! To celebrate The Crime Warp's second birthday we're giving away John Connolly and Declan Burke's superb crime anthology to one lucky Crime Warp reader
It seems like a lifetime ago when The Crime Warp went live in October 2012. We weren't sure what to expect but we couldn't have anticipated how many readers we would have (over 45,000 page views) and how much we would write about crime fiction and thrillers (225 posts with more being added every week). We originally thought most readers would be from the UK and have been delighted to see how far The CrimeWarp has spread, with regular visitors from across the whole of Europe, the Far East, Australia and the Americas.
Our ambition is to provide our readers with news about the newest and best in crime fiction and thrillers through book reviews, author interviews and general news about what's happening in the world of crime fiction. We believe its that mix that keeps bringing people back so often.
To celebrate our second birthday, we're giving away a copy of Books to Die For, which normally retails at £18.99. The book is edited by John Connoly and Declan Burke. An anthology where more than 120 of the world's leading mystery writers come together to share their passion and enthusiasm for mystery novels. Each author introduces their favourite book to provide a comprehensive archive of novels stretching from 1841 to 2008. It's a fantastic compendium and a great way to find out about books you might not even know about or wouldn't have thought about reading.
For your chance to win Books to Die For, just send an email with "Happy Birthday" in the title to me - romancrimeblogger@gmail.com. The closing date is midnight on 6 November. As always, the competition is open to all Crime Warp readers - it doesn’t matter which country you live in. I’ll draw names at random during the second weekend in November and send the book out to the lucky Crime Warp winner the following week. I'll also reply to everyone's email to let them know whether they've won the draw or not and I'll announce the winner once they let me know they've received their book.
Looking forward, we've got lots of ideas and plans - we're lining up more guest blogs and features, tempting authors to reveal all in interviews and of course continuing to bring you up to date news and book reviews of the latest crime and thriller titles.
Finally, a big thank you for visiting The Crime Warp. We hope you continue to enjoy our blog and as always, please send us your feedback and let us know if there's anything we can do better. That way we'll be sure that the best is yet to come!
