The Mistry Crime tour through the Big Screen and into your living room

From Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible Rogue Nation, to vintage Christie in Partners In Crime on the TV and gritty euro crime Crossing Lines we're spoiled for choice this summer!

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation (at cinemas now!)

With  the IMF disbanded and the Mission Impossible team under attack from the syndicate (a band of international super agents previously pronounced dead) this film is packed with action from beginning to end with stunts on motorbikes including an incredible rolling car sequence with Tom Cruise  and Simon Pegg and an underwater race against time stunt.  Fantastic, thrilling and Tom Cruise doing most of his own stunts just adds to the thrill. I loved the tongue in cheek comedy  and our own Simon Pegg is great.  Well worth a trip to the cinema.

... and on TV
Crossing Lines (Alibi Tuesdays 9PM)

This is gritty and action packed with a healthy grip of international policing and the need for co-operation and cross border involvement in certain crimes.  the team are dynamic with skills to die for (and some of them do).  their back stories are compelling and if you missed this before now's the time to catch up.

Partners In Crime (BBC1 Sunday's 9PM)

With a brilliantly cast David Walliams and Jessica Raine as Agatha Christie's lesser known heroes Tommy and Tuppence, Partner's In Crime is a must see.  full of steam trains , nostalgia and good old fashioned crime from the Queen of the crime genre.  Despite a shaky start by Walliams the duo's dynamics perk up by the end of the first part and the master of humour draws up to the line.  Enjoyable and funny.  A good Sunday evening watch for Christie fans.
