Book Review: The Last Victim by Jordan Dane, an FBI profiler Ryker Townsend story

The Last Victim takes us from  Alaskan mountains on a remote island to the Cascade mountains in Seattle in this chillingly delicious serial killer story.  Ryker Townsend , an FBI analyst, has his own demons to fight as well as a serial killer who appears to have formed a very personal link with him.

Well thought out with many twists and turns and with believable and compelling characters.  Rykers ability to see into the minds of the victims makes him both vulnerable and fearsome as he attempts to catch the killer.  Meanwhile the killer is determined to infiltrate Ryker's mind leaving him confused, but more determined than ever to capture the
Alaskan mountains
killer.  Determined to keep his uncanny intuition secret from his team makes Ryer head off into the Alaskan mountains to the home of the most recent victim in an attempt to identify the killer.  Action packed and vivid and enjoyable read for fans of James Carol's Jefferson Winter series or Mason Cross' Carter Blake series.
