Book Review : Bryant & May: The Burning Man by Christopher Fowler... London's Burning Again!

In The Burning Man London's on fire, riots abound, banks are being targeted and a murderer is using the resulting chaos to camouflage his crimes.  Unfortunately he doesn't factor in The Peculiar Crime Unit and Detectives Bryant & May who take the investigation as far back as Guy Fawkes times.

As ever Bryant, May and the rest of The Peculiar Crimes Unit are delightfully quirky, exceptionally readable and downright enjoyable.
Christopher Fowler manages to be current, relevant, eccentric and historic all at once- an intoxicating mix for
anyone's tastes.
The Burning Man is the 12th book in his highly acclaimed Bryant & May series and is due for release on 26th March 2015. The sense of London on the brink combined with Fowler's uncanny ability to evoke setting with a few well chosen words is palpable.  The plot is compelling,
the characters are, as ever fantastic and the book in it's entirety a study in enjoyment.

Available from 26th March 2015 in Kindle £9.99 or HB £11.89
