Book Review: Captor by Anita Waller; A psychological thriller by one of the queens of the genre!

Every new mother or mother to be makes choices for their new baby and Liz Chambers is no different. She makes choices that she thinks will be the best for her baby. Unfortunately, some of those choices lead to a series of edge of the seat events when Liz's baby son is abducted. I'm so tempted to delve into the meat of this story, but I will restrain myself as it will be so much more effective if you read it yourself.
In Captor, don't be misled or back footed into thinking things
are as they seem ... they most certainly are not. Anita Waller is a genius when it comes to slipping in the twist and then giving it a hefty turn ... even up to the very last pages of the book.
Captor is about human nature, morals, choices and decisions. It is about strength and love and determination. It is also about darkness and fear and revenge ... and this author does it so damn well, that you will be drawn into the narrative and pulled along as Liz Chambers desperately waits for her baby to be found.
I think the secret to Waller's success is her matter of fact writing style and her perceptive observation s of human nature. This is a must read and comes highly recommended by The Crime Warp.
